A funeral Mass for Wallace Brooks Park, 87, a lifelong Gardnerville resident, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Gall's Catholic Church with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Park died Jan. 27, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1912, in San Francisco, Calif., to Wallace and Margaret Hickey Park.
Mr. Park loved being a rancher. He was president of Park Cattle Co. and developer of Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. He enjoyed golf and participating in church activities at St. Gall where he was a member. He was a great father and wonderful husband.
He was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Park Pruett and Mildred Lourdeaux.
Among his survivors are his wife Jeanne of Gardnerville; son Bruce of Minden; daughters Jeanne Blach of Elko and Kay Seeliger, of Reno; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mottsville Cemetery in Minden.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
