The Carson City Recreation Division will sponsor a skateboard contest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6 at Mills Park.
Deadline for entries is May 1. Sign-ups are held at 702 Skateboard and Snowboard Shop, 119 Clearview Drive, and the Carson City Community Center. Safety gear is required. Contestants must bring helmet, knee and elbow pads.
Divisions are: 8 and younger; 9-12; 13-15; 16-18, and 19 and older.
