The public comment period for the proposed Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge conservation plan and boundary revision has been extended another month until July 12.
The extension was requested by the Churchill County Commission. Project leader Kim Hanson said the Environmental Impact Statement has generated a lot of interest among members of the public as well.
The plan is designed to guide management and use of the refuge for the next 15 years.
