On Saturday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m., the Douglas High School Band and Music Boosters will present the second annual "Best of the West" field show competition on the Douglas High School football field. The school will host marching bands from throughout Northern Nevada in a display of music and showmanship.
The public is welcome to attend. Admission is $3 per person, which includes a program. The concession stand will be open for food and snacks.
