Undersheriff named to Prosecution Council

Clark County's undersheriff has been named to the state Prosecution Advisory Council.

Dick Winget replaces Washoe Sheriff Richard Kirkland on the council, which was created to coordinate training, policies and legislative issues involving Nevada's city, county and state prosecutors. It was created by the 1997 Legislature.

Other members of the council are Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa, district attorneys Stew Bell of Clark, Noel Waters of Carson City and Robert Estes of Lyon County as well as Las Vegas City Attorney Brad Jerbic and his Reno counterpart, Pat Lynch.
