LAS VEGAS - An unidentified woman is nearly $35 million dollars richer after hitting the much sought-after Megabucks jackpot on Wednesday night.
The woman hit it big at the The Desert Inn Resort on the strip here shortly before 10 p.m. The jackpot was at $34,955,489.
Caroline Coyle, director of advertising and public affairs for the casino, said the woman, who wished to remain anonymous, was "a lovely young lady who hit at approximately 9:45 pm."
Coyle was unable to give any other details.
Megabucks is now set at $7 million.
