Sheriff's report

The following people were taken into custody at the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- Lamont Ontario Williams, 32, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Woodside Drive on a warrant out of Carson City Justice Court for investigation of two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance other than marijuana. Bail was set at $100,000.

-- William Donald Helms, 41, a transient, was arrested at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Carson City jail for the investigation of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.

-- A 27-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Siskiyou Drive for investigation of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.

-- A 26-year-old Carson City painter was arrested at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of South Roop Street for investigation of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.

-- A 30-year-old Carson City maintenance man was arrested at 5 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Jeanell Drive for investigation of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.

-- A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road for the investigation of a probation violation. He is being held without bail.

--EA 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday at U.S. 50 and Arrowhead Drive for investigation of first-offense DUI, a center turn lane violation and unlawful acts of financial responsibility. Bail was set at $2,315.

-- A 40-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson City jail on a warrant out of Carson City Justice Court for the investigation of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent. Bail was set at $2,500.
