Clinger named deputy budget director

He replaces Don Hataway who retired.

Clinger has been an analyst with the budget office two years handling University System budgets which make up about 20 percent of the state's general fund spending.

He has been a state employee for five years. Before working in the budget office, he was an accountant with the state controller's office and a similar position with the Department of Business and Industry.

Clinger graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno. He lives in Carson City with his wife Stacie and their three children.
