A memorial service for Barbara L. Kindred, 62, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's.
Mrs. Kindred died June 10, 2002, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Redlands, Calif., to Bud and Opal Smith Cowan.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Incline Village for 35 years.
Mrs. Kindred was a Methodist.
Among her survivors are her mother Opal Cowan of Ventura, Calif.; husband Dale K. of Carson City; sons Michael of Carson City and Kevin of Modesto, Calif.; daughter Robin Kindred of Sparks; brother Jack Cowen of San Bernardino, Calif.; sister Joyce Frasier of Redlands, Calif., and grandchild Shaun Kindred.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
