Services for Donald J. Knapp, 64, of Carson City, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Ross, Burke & Knobel Funeral Home, 1538 C Street in Sparks.
Mr. Knapp died June 14, 2002, at Washoe Village. He was 64.
He was born Oct. 9, 1937 to Raymond and Laura Knapp.
He was raised in Hancock, N.Y., where he graduated from high school.
Mr. Knapp was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy and most recently worked for the Nevada Air Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Claude Knapp and sisters Marie O'Dell, Juanita Kulikowski, Ruth DiGregorio and Jane Knapp.
He is survived by wife Eleanor of Washoe Valley; a son, David Knapp of Reno; daughters Loreen Freudenthaler of Sparks, Terry Crader and Karen Lordeman both of Olympia, Wash.; a sister Alice Eddy of Port Richard, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Northern Nevada Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
