Mrs. McRice was a housewife. She enjoyed ceramics, poodles and was active in TOPS for many years.
She was preceded in death by her sons Donald Hitchcock, Harold "Bud" Hitchcock, grandson Dennis Hitchcock and granddaughter Cindy Hitchcock.
Among her survivors are her husband Richard; grandchildren Danny Hitchcock, Trudie Erickson and T.J. Erickson; and stepchildren Carolyn Coombs, Eleanor Knapp and Gerald McRice.
