Loyal Vernon Fraker a 25-year resident of Carson City and Dayton died May 23, 2002, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Reno. He was 84.
Mr. Fraker was born Feb. 15, 1918 in Minnesota to Leland and Effie True Fraker.
He was an operating engineer and an oil driller.
Mr. Fraker served in the U.S. Army and is a WWII veteran having served in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by a sister Sybil Dedrickson and brothers Bill and Louie J.R. Fraker.
He is survived by his children, Mike, Sally, Leland, Lowell, Billy, Luella, Beverly and Loyall Fraker; 11 grandchildren Tifany and Kaila Fraker who lived with him and nine others whom he never met.
Services will be scheduled at a later date.
