U.S. Gold Corp. said a consultant recommended
it begin commercial gold
production at U.S. Gold's 100 percentowned
Tonkin Springs gold mine in
Eureka County.
The property covers 36 square miles
between Battle Mountain and Eureka.
The consultant, HW Process
Technologies Inc. of Denver, estimated
that the mine's production in its first four
years would be approximately 358,000
ounces of gold at an average cash cost of
$225 per ounce.
U.S. Gold is based in Lakewood,
Colo.
