WNCC Spring Registration Kicks Off Dec. 2

Registration for the 2003 spring semester at Western Nevada Community College begins Monday for continuing and returning students and Dec. 9 for new students.

A registration form is provided in the spring class schedule, which has been mailed to all homes in the college's seven-county service area. The schedule is also being delivered to all WNCC campuses and education centers, local libraries, chambers of commerce and other public locations.

The schedule is also on the college Web site at www.wncc.edu.

Students register using Web-Reg on the Internet. In an effort to ease the transition for those who are not Web proficient, college staff members are at all campuses and teaching centers to assist students with registration.

Those who do not have Internet access may use computer terminals at all WNCC teaching locations, Many public and school libraries also have access to the Internet.

Normal operating hours for Web-Reg are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and noon to 6 p.m. weekends and holidays.

Financial assistance is available. Call Financial Assistance in Carson City at 445-3264.

Once a student is registered, counselors are available to discuss individual concerns, programs and requirements by appointment or during drop-in times. To make an appointment with Counseling Services in Carson City, call 445-3267.
