Contractors association sets annual conference

To help contractors get back in the swing of things before the building season kicks into high gear, the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe will host the Sierra Nevada Builders Conference April 26-27.

Held at the North Tahoe Conference Center in Kings Beach, the show will offer information about advances in technology, construction products, and carpentry techniques.

There will also be industry speakers, including attorney Jim Porter discussing changes in California mechanics liens, QuickBooks specialist Jeanette Conradson and California State Senator Rico Oller.

The cost is $5 at the door (free for CATT members), and parking is free.
