TV newscasts continue to love RibicRescue's device to allow workers to lower themselves to safety down the side of high-rise buildings after a disaster.

The Reno-based company has garnered recent publicity from stations in Denver and Chicago as well as ABC.

More important, Vice President Jack Challis says, sales orders are continuing to flow in for the system that retails for $795 and $850.

"We're rolling steadily but surely," Challis says.

The company is working to increase efficiencies at its German manufacturing operation, and may go in search of venture capital to provide more muscle to its marketing efforts.
