A funeral for Robert T. "Bob" Davis, 83, a Douglas County resident for the past 33 years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Davis died Dec. 19, 2003, in Reno.
He was born June 24, 1920, in Akron, Ohio, to Thomas and Gwendolain Burton Davis.
He graduated from high school in Glendale, Calif.
He married Emma Jones in February 1946, in Pasadena, Calif.
Before moving to Douglas County, he lived in Altadena, Calif.
Mr. Davis was an installer for Western Electric (now Lucent Technology), retiring in 1976 after more than 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his brother.
Among his survivors are his wife, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Concetta; son, Clifford, all of Carson City; sister, Nellus Christy of St. George, Utah; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
