Kent Edward Cartwright

A celebration of life for Kent Edward "Nevada Kent" Cartwright, 62, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be begin at noon Saturday at home, 3597 Green Acres Drive, Carson City; phone 882-3413 to RSVP.

Mr. Cartwright died Dec. 24, 2003. He was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Springfield, Ill., to Edward G. and Miriam Foutch Cartwright. He was a Navy veteran. He was actively involved in pre-1840 Mountain Man Beaver Trade Re-enactment and attended the annual National Rendezvous for many years.

Among his survivors are his parents of Laughlin; fiance, Darlene Wilcoxson of Carson City; aunts and uncles Mary and Bob Pride of Springfield, Ill., and John W. and Katherine Foutch of Canton, Ohio; and several cousins.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
