United Engine and Machine Co., a Carson City-based manufacturer of after-market engine parts, said last week it struck a deal to jointly distribute and market its products with Hastings Manufacturing Co.
Michigan-based Hastings makes PowerFLEX Precision Racing Rings.
The companies said the deal will allow retailers and distributors who serve the high-performance market to buy products from a single source.
United Engine makes three lines of piston one for replacement of original equipment, one for performance automotive and motorcycle applications and a third for budget racers.
