Lawrence W. Kennedy, 96, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died July 11, 2003, at Nevada Cares in Carson City. He was born Jan. 31, 1907, in Oakland, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, he was a longtime Nevada County, Calif., resident.
Mr. Kennedy retired after 30 years as Road Department Supervisor for Nevada County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and daughter Carol Ann Cranford.
Among his survivors are his daughter Jeanette M. Mumford of Carson City and nephew Col. Alan B. Cirino, USAF, Ret.
A funeral and burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Grass Valley, Calif.
The Neptune Society of Nevada Reno is in charge of arrangements.
