Carl Sewell, 39, a seven-year resident of Carson City, died May 24, 2003 in Carson City. He was born April 7, 1964, in Torrance, Calif. Prior to living in Carson City, he lived in Blythe, Calif.
Mr. Sewell enjoyed water sports.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chet Ormiston, in 1976.
Among his survivors are his grandmother, Thelma Smith of Reno; great-grandmother, Mildred Padgett of Cathedral City, Calif.; sisters Shelly Beynon and Cheyenne Ormiston, both of Ehrenberg, Ariz.; brothers Kenneth Sewell of Indian Wells, N.C., Trevor Hopkins of Mesa, Ariz., and Travis and Troy Hopkins, both of Ehrenberg.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
