4-H offers web design course for youths

Carson City's 4-H program is offering two new clubs for youth interested in Web design and computers and/or drama, theater and the arts.

-- In the Web Design and Computer Club, youth ages 12 and older will explore the design and development of web pages. They will also unravel other computer mysteries.

-- In the Drama and Theater Arts Club, youth ages 9 and older will explore theater arts and dramatic presentations. Besides performing, youth may explore other elements of dramatic productions such as set design or even writing their own play.

Youth interested in joining either of these clubs, as well as adults who may be interested in volunteering, should contact University of Nevada Cooperative Extension in Carson City 887-2252. The 4-H program is a youth development program of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
