Obituary: Alfred Stover

A celebration of life for Alfred "Jack" Stover, 64, a Dayton resident for the past 10 months, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Stover died March 16, 2003, in Reno. He was born April 7,1938, in Artie, W. Va.

He was a retired Air Force veteran and served two tours in Vietnam.

Among his survivors are his wife of 31 years, Lila of Dayton; son, Mike of Sacramento, Calif.; stepchildren Debra Starr and her husband, Bill, of Great Falls, Mont., Steven Spencer and his wife, Tonya, of Montague, Calif., and Dianna Jackson of Sacramento; brothers and sisters-in-law Jimmy and Lorene of Decatur, Tenn., Johnny and Velma of Montague, Mich., Joe and Sandy of Fulton, Ky., and Lewis and Marilyn of Fulton; brother Tim of Pax, W. Va.; sister Audrey Maynor of Pax; sister and brother-in-law Catherine and Stuart Crafton of Fulton; and seven grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, W. Va.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
