A memorial service for Mary L. Smith, 68, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Southgate Apartments' Recreation Center, 2100 California St.
Mrs. Smith died April 29, 2003, in Reno. She was born in San Francisco to Wally and Susan Shouse.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Fairfield, Calif.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker. She enjoyed the Carson City Senior Center, computers, garage sales and her friends at Southgate Apartments.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Don Smith; daughters Gayla and Renelle; and brother Ron.
Among her survivors are her sons Michael Stephenson of El Paso, Texas, and David Smith of Dayton; daughters Susan Mumford of Oregon and Donna George and Carrie Onerato of California; brother Greg Shouse of Napa, Calif.; and sister, Barbara Wolfe of Carson City.
Cremation will be at Truckee Meadows Crematory.
Reno Memorial Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
