Richard Timothy 'Tim' Schmerber

A celebration of life for Richard Timothy "Tim" Schmerber will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Schmerber died Nov. 25 at his home in Mound House. He was 42.

He was born Dec. 3, 1960 in Salem, Ore. to Karl Schmerber and Carolyn Woosley.

He lived in the Carson City area for the last seven years coming from San Diego.

Mr. Schmerber served in the U.S. Navy for 18 years. He worked for Loomis Fargo & Co. as an armored car driver for the last three years.

He is survived by his parents Karl and Carolyn Schmerber of Salem, Ore.; son Christopher Todd Schmerber of Mound House, daughters Jaqueline Marie and Amanda Nicole Schmerber of Mound House; brother Steven Gregory Schmerber of Vancouver, Wash.; and sisters Karla Marie Hofmann of Oregon City, Ore. and Elizabeth Diane Ferry of Salem, Ore.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is the funeral director and FitzHenry's Crematory is in charge of cremation.
