State offers Spanish work safety classes

The Safety Consultation and Training Section of the State of Nevada's Division of Industrial Relations is now offering safety programs in Spanish.

Courses offered in Spanish include "Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness" in which participants spend two to three hours learning about bloodborne diseases, blood and body fluid exposures in the workplace, and "Four Hour Defensive Driving," to increase awareness of risks and hazards associated with adverse driving conditions while providing tangible techniques to reduce road risks.
