Margaret Love Massey, 88, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, died April 11, 2004, at Evergreen Care Center. She was born March 15, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Roy and Vallie Williams Brand.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Payson, Ariz.
Mrs. Massey was a bookkeeper. She was a past member of the Eastern Star in the Bay area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1998.
Among her survivors are son Richard of Carson City; granddaughter, Melanie McCormick and her husband, Shawn; and great-granddaughter Morgana McCormick, all of Carson City.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
