A memorial service for Bob Lee Lauderdale, 65,a Yerington resident for the past 41 years, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Yerington Vineyard Church in Yerington.
Mr. Lauderdale died Aug. 9, 2004, at his home. He was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Patterson, Calif., to Robert and Hazel Johnson Lauderdale. He was raised in Patterson.
He married Joyce Evelyn Ricci. She preceded him in death in 1983.
Mr. Lauderdale worked for Anaconda and also for Lyon County in Yerington. He enjoyed shooting and camping.
He served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his son, Todd, of Yerington; daughters LeeAnne Reeves of Reno and Jill Lauderdale of Carson City; and nine grandchildren.
Burial will be in the family plot at Valley View Cemetery next to his wife.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
