Northbound traffic is backed up on Highway 395 north of Washoe Valley. Initial reports say police are involved in a standoff with a woman who has threatened to shoot anyone who comes near.
The woman is in a house on Viola Way in New Washoe City .
Motorists traveling the southbound lanes are unaffected at this time.
