Truckee Meadows Community College launched two online services that will assist in developing workplace skills and certification credentials training with ACT courseware and certification testing.
With ACT courseware, more than 3,000 business courses are available online.
This allows managers and their staffs to schedule recurring training requirements such as supervisory skills on-line.
Course categories range from key work skills such as listening, research and teamwork to English as a second language and management and leadership.
TMCC's Certification Testing Center, meanwhile, delivers computerized testing and assessment programs in business and industry disciplines.
License examinations are available for the Association of Social Work Boards, Commission on Dietetic Registration, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Boards and Automotive Service Excellence.
