Gibbons opens rural Nevada offices
Rep. Jim Gibbons, R-Nev., is opening a series of satellite offices in Northern Nevada.
He said offices in Carlin, Wells and Battle Mountain will be located in donated space and will be open to residents once a month on a regular schedule.
All three offices will be staffed by Gibbons' Elko personnel from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a day each month to provide residents help with federal agencies and other issues including congressional legislation. The Carlin office will be open every second Tuesday, the Wells office every third Tuesday and the Battle Mountain center on every fourth Tuesday of the month.
