Evelyn A. Kaney, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 29 years, died Feb. 10, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 6, 1912, in Chester, Mont., to Erwin and Hazel Saltau Bathke.
She married James Kaney in 1974 in Virginia City. He preceded her in death April 29, 2003, in Carson City.
Mrs. Kaney was a sales representative for Avon and for Shaklee for many years.
Among her survivors are her nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
