A Reno-based limited partnership sold Baring West Center, a 15,376- square-foot retail strip center in Sparks.
The property sold for $1.8 million, said Roxanne Stevenson, vice president of Grubb & Ellis Nevada Commercial Group.
Her firm represented the seller, Baring West Ltd.
The purchaser is Denny Welsand, a real estate investor in Reno.
The center, which is 100 percent leased, is just east of McCarran Boulevard on Baring Boulevard.
Stevenson said the occupancy of the center is a positive reflection on the business climate in Sparks.
She said the transaction also shows that the city continues to be an attractive spot for real estate investors.
