Richard 'Dusty' Brown

A funeral service for Richard "Dusty" Brown will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. Visitation will be there from noon-1 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Brown died Jan. 12, 2004, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno. He was 53. He was born Aug. 1, 1950, in San Diego to William and Wilmeth Bennett Brown.

Before living in Carson City, he lived in Ely.

Mr. Brown worked for West Coast Bullet in Mound House, where he plated bullets.

He enjoyed the outdoors and animals.

Among his survivors are his wife of 27 years, Terri of Carson City; son, Jason of Carson City; sister, Victoria Mullica of Shirley Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
