'Xtreme Air' comes to Carson City

Carson City Fairgrounds will be the backdrop for free-falling, motocross jumping, acrobats, big air mountain boarding, BMX jumping, a super trampoline and other exciting sports.

The "Xtreme Air - Sick, Wild & Twisted" is performing today and Sunday, featuring world record free-fall stuntmen and other extreme sports.

While featuring some of the world's best stuntmen, the show will also focus on teaching children to make good choices.

Positive actions, staying in school and wearing proper safety equipment are among the topics presented at each show.

Xtreme Air shows will go on today at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Each show lasts two hours.

Tickets are available starting at $8 at www.tickets.com, at Raley's grocery stores or at the gate.
