Wade Vecchio has joined Thunder Canyon Private Golf Club inWashoe Valley as golf course superintendent.
Prior to joining Thunder Canyon, Vecchio spent six seasons at Old Baldy Private Golf Club in Saratoga, Wyo.
He spent two seasons at Valley View Golf Club in Bozeman, Mont., three years at Sonnenalp Golf Club in Edwards, Colo., and six years at Cotton Ranch Club in Gypsum, Colo.
He has a bachelor of science in horticulture with emphasis in turfgrass from Montana State University in Bozeman and acquired the title of certified golf course superintendent in 2000.
