The chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, Don Soderberg, has named Charlie Bolle as the new manager of policy analysis replacing Kirby Lampley, who now serves as the director of regulatory operations.
Bolle joined the commission in 1998 as a policy advisor specializing in telecommunication issues.
Prior to coming to Nevada, he spent 11 years with the Alaska Public Utilities Commission and six years with the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission.
Bolle also serves as a staff member of the Federal/State Joint Board on Universal Service as well as the staff subcommittee chairman for Consumer Issues of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.
The policy analysis division is responsible for providing policy, technical support and advice to the commissioners on various aspects of utility issues.
