Kenneth Bruce Valentine, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, died March 2, 2004, in Carson City. No services are scheduled at this time.
Mr. Valentine was born April 22, 1923, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Don and Elizabeth Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Don Valentine Jr.
Mr. Valentine received a bachelor of arts degree in history from Stanford University.
He married Livija Valentine Nov. 25, 1959, in San Mateo, Calif.
Prior to living in Carson City, he resided in Reno. He was an insurance executive.
Mr. Valentine served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife, Livija; son Ashley Valentine; daughter Julie Valentine, four grandchildren and one nephew.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
