A California man was killed at around 12:17 a.m. Saturday morning when his pickup truck rolled over on Highway 395 south of Gardnerville near Jake's Hill, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Brown.
The truck was southbound when the rollover occurred. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and the cause is still under investigation.
The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither his name nor any other information about him nor his vehicle have been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
NHP officials are planning a press release with more information to be issued Monday.
