Want to get rid of that old computer or outdated cell phone? Residents can drop off any unwanted household electronic equipment at a free computer recycling event Oct.
16 from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m.
at the Reno Hilton Parking Lot.
Accepted items will include computer-related equipment, plus other devices such as cell phones and televisions.
The items will then be recycled or donated to Disability Resources for redistribution.
Volunteers are needed for the event in four-hour shifts from 8 a.m.
to noon and noon to 4 p.m.
