Patrick Bassney has been named senior director of marketing at Boomtown Casino and Resort in Reno.
Bassney previously worked as Fitzgeralds hotel manager and, more recently, as general manager of the Sands Casino and Hotel through 2001.He also held a position within the Harrah's organization in Atlantic City, N.J.
