Samantha Read has been promoted to transaction coordinator for Lake Tahoe Mortgage.
Read, a 10-year resident of the Truckee and Tahoe area, previously worked in the mortgage firm's Tahoe City branch office.
She has served as marketing director for the company, as well as in public relations.
In her new position, she will be working in Lake Tahoe Mortgage's Reno Quail Park offices.
