Alere Medical Inc., a Reno firm that provides remote monitoring of patients with chronic conditions,was named to the Inc.
Magazine 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation Alere won the spot for showing a 411% annual growth rate,with 2003 revenue of $17.6 million.
The firm was ranked number 64 overall on the Inc.
500 list, and sixth within the list's Health sector.
