Lucchesi, dean of student services and enrollment management at Truckee Meadows Community College,will receive TMCC's Presidential Administrative Award for excellence in service this Friday.
Lucchesi began her 22 years at TMCC in 1984 as supervisor of admissions and records.
She worked seven years as registrar and was appointed as a dean in July 2000.
In 1990 Lucchesi was instrumental in implementing the computerized student records system at TMCC and assisted other schools statewide in the development of their student records systems.
Lucchesi earned her bachelor's degree in English from Oregon's Portland State University and her master's degree in public administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
