Crime log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Andres Orozco, 44, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Edward Tucker, 33, a house painter from Carson City, was arrested at 1:03 a.m. Wednesday on Morgan Mill and Deer Run roads on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, furnishing drugs to a minor, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Tucker was allegedly found smoking marijuana in a vehicle with a 17-year-old girl. Bail was set at $75,000.

• Guillermo Beltran, 33, of Fallon, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony principal to trafficking. Bail was set at $10,000.

• Margaret Ann Bartak, 50, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon. She allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend with her car, causing minor injuries. Bail was set at $30,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A residential burglary report in the 4800 block of Sutro Terrace at 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• A tackle box found at Second and Pratt streets was booked into evidence at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

• A vehicle stolen out of Auburn, Calif., was recovered in the 400 block of Curry Street at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday.

• Runaway report in the 100 block of Ring Road in Mark Twain at 6:09 a.m.

• Motor vehicle injury report on Dallas Street in Fernley at 7:22 a.m.

• Embezzlement report from a Mound House business at 7:55 a.m.

• Sexual assault report in Mason Valley at 8:13 a.m.

• Residential burglary report in the 500 block of Andrea Way in Dayton at 6:04 p.m.

• Destruction of property report in the 700 block of Tanglewood Drive in Fernley at 6:17 p.m.

• Accident on East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 6:44 p.m.

• Fire on Channel Drive in Dayton Valley at 9:20 p.m.

• A misdemeanor arrest related to the report of narcotics and a juvenile problem on Esmeralda Avenue in Silver Springs at 11:27 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Speed warning issued at 12:43 p.m. on Lousetown Road.

• Traffic warning issued at 6:08 p.m. on Main Street.

• Juvenile arrested at 7:18 p.m. and taken to juvenile detention in Carson City.

• Traffic warning issued at 11:20 p.m. on State Route 341.
