A memorial service for Edith Clarice Stovall, 90, a 30-year resident of Topaz, Calif., will be held at 10 a.m. today at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Stovall died Dec. 14 at home. She was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Vendor, Ark., to George L. and Leathie Sutton Holt.
Mrs. Stovall was a graduate of Jasper High School and married Herbert L. Stovall on Oct. 13, 1962, in Winterhaven, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
Before moving to Topaz, Mrs. Stovall lived in Van Nuys, Calif.
Mrs. Stovall was preceded in death by her parents; brother Earnal Holt; sons Raymond Holt and Dennis Crine; and granddaughter Sherryl Griffith.
Among her survivors are her husband of Topaz; son, Johnnie L. Griffith of Carson City; stepchildren Sherry Odden of Las Vegas, Terry Lynn Mouck of Las Vegas and Larry Stovall of Salt Lake City; sisters Mag Sutton and Audrey Breedlove; brother Dallas Holt; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Eastside Memorial Park in Minden. Memorial contributions may be sent to 119962 Highway 395 No. 10, Topaz, CA 96133.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
