Catching up: Airport hotel ready to fly

Plans for a business-class hotel at the entrance to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport remain on track.

Intermountain Management LLC of Monroe, La., plans about 125 rooms in the hotel on three acres just south of Plumb Lane and Terminal Way.

Dewey Struble, a real estate broker with Sperry Van Ness who works with Intermountain Management, says the work that's under way includes orienting the hotel on the property so it doesn't interfere with radar gear at the airport.
