Brad Cannon has been named senior vice president and senior commercial lending officer with Sun West Bank in Reno.
Cannon,who has more than 30 years of banking experience, began his banking career with Security National Bank after graduating from the University of Nevada, where he majored in business administration.
Security National was acquired by Valley Bank of Nevada, and later by Bank of America.
In 1995 Cannon moved to Sierra West Bank, now Bank of the West.
Prior to joining Sun West Bank, Cannon was senior vice president and chief credit officer at Heritage Bank in Reno.
