Mary Elizabeth Biaggi

A rosary for Mary Elizabeth Biaggi, 83, a Carson Valley resident for the past 64 years, will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian celebration will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, and a reception will follow at the Pastoral Center.

Mrs. Biaggi died Jan. 29, 2005, at home.

She was born April 28, 1921, in Los Angeles, and was adopted and raised by Belle Fulton.

After moving to Bridgeport in 1936, she attended high school in Douglas County and drove a mail stage between Bridgeport and Lee Vining.

She married Aldo Biaggi in 1940.

Mrs. Biaggi enjoyed playing the organ, singing, and participating in activities at St. Gall.

Among her survivors are her husband of 64 years; daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Andy Aldax and Darlene and Bob McRae; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Linda; grandchildren Mark, Dianne, Julie, Gary, Cheryl, Whitney and Taylor; and great-grandchildren Lindsey, Rachel, Hannah, Adrienne, Seth and Lewis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Gall Memorial Garden Fund, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89410; or St. Mary's Hospice Care, 3605 Grant Drive, Reno, NV 89509.

Private inurnment will be at a later date.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
