Firms grade themselves on their branding skills

Strategic Marketing Consortium 3, a brand-management firm based in Reno, has completed an audit of brand management practices among 30 northern Nevada organizations.

David Roberts, senior partner for the company, said the organizations gave themselves the highest marks for their consistent use of brand messaging on outbound materials.

The organizations gave themselves the lowest marks, he said, for failing to measure the power of their brands internally.
